Multitest has announced that it has introduced InCarrier Loader and Unloader in various specifications. In addition, the company can provide partner solutions for unloading into tape and reel and loading from wafer ring.

The company’s unique test handling solution, InCarrier offers both the benefits of the strip handling method and the standard test handling method. The InCarrier includes a carrier or tray into which loading of singulated integrated chips is done. The high parallel strip test handler, InStrip examines these singulated ICs. Then the tested integrated chips are unloaded into the shipping medium and final packaging. The InCarrier Loader and Unloader tool is provided for these kinds of methods. The InCarrier is an exclusive product offered by Multitest for use in high-parallel test handling of sensors and semiconductors in the smallest packages, as small as 1.2x1.2 mm.
The company has already formed the InCarrier method for use in consumer and automotive applications and the process is used in a number of locations such as Asia, Europe and the United States.
