ViTrox Technologies, a company specializing in sophisticated and affordable automated vision inspection systems for the semiconductor and electronics packaging industries, will introduce the improved version of its TH-1000 Vision Handler at Semicon Taiwan, which will be held at the TWTC Nangang Exhibition Hall in Taiwan from September 5 to 7.
ViTrox’s TH-1000 is specially designed for tray-to-tray IC device inspection and is further improved with double unit inspection, a new feature that is capable of detecting stack-up IC devices in the tray more easily, thus reducing over-rejection rates.
The TR-1000 Vision Handler, another new product from ViTrox Technologies, is specially designed for tray-to-reel IC device final inspection requirements. The system has duo nozzles, an integrated taping module, and tray-to-tape pick-and-place features, providing higher throughput of 12K (tray-to-tape). Moreover, it is equipped with a 3-in-1 vision station to perform 3-D and 5-sided inspections, and is offered with package vision inspection as an optional feature.
Since ViTrox Technologies is continually working on the improvement of its products and services to surpass industry’s rigorous demand and customer perquisites, both models have received several unit orders from customers in China and Taiwan, and also set a standard to other solutions providers operating in this market.
According to Steven Siaw, Senior Vice President at ViTrox Technologies, the company anticipates that its tray-based automated inspection solutions will revolutionize the semiconductor assembly and test markets. The innovative and insightful features reduce the product learning curve and conversion time and optimize customers’ machine utilization and uptime, therefore resulting in faster return on investment.
