Geothermal energy and spray foam services provider, Climate Shield, has entered into a partnership agreement with Lapolla Industries.
According to this agreement, Climate Shield will have the license to distribute and install Lapolla manufactured insulators throughout New England. Climate Shield already has a customer base comprising commercial establishments, residences, contractors and industrial customers in New England even though the company is based out of New Hampshire.
Lapolla supplies a vast range of specialty coating and spray foam products for all types of buildings of any size. Some of the target building types include colleges, schools, healthcare facilities, dairy or wine tanks, food processing facilities and agricultural buildings. Though spray polyurethane foam has been in use for many years, it is only recently that it is in the spotlight owing to its energy saving features. Residences and businesses can save considerably on their heating and cooling bills by using spray foam as it can keep the interiors cool in summer and warm during winter. Climate Shield works in close collaboration with various contractors operating in New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine to install spray foam in structures such as attics, foundations, ceilings, basements, garages, crawl spaces and HVAC ductwork. Climate Shield also specializes in geothermal services. The earth’s natural temperatures facilitate geothermal heating. A geothermal heating system is long lasting and requires only minimal maintenance. According to estimates by the Environmental Protection Agency, the energy savings associated with geothermal energy are 20% to 50% on cooling costs and 30% to 70% on heating expenditure.
