FRX Polymers, a provider of flame retarded plastics, has introduced a new brand for its product line of flame retardant polymers. The company has named the new brand Nofia.
The name of the latest product line has a corresponding logo that reflects FRX Polymers’s commitment towards manufacturing innovative flame retardant products. .The new brand name Nofia will not only represent the company’s New England roots, but also be a sign of its products’ finer flame retardancy.
Nofia, the new brand from FRX Polymers, will be launched on September 20, 2012, and the date coincides with the ground breaking of the company’s first commercial plant. The products developed under this brand name are transparent, sturdy, and possess high melt flow. Nofia products are widely accessible in markets that are predominant with consumer electronics, transportation and construction. They are available as polymeric flame retardant additives, reactive flame retardant additives for thermosetting resins, and flame retardant engineering plastics.
The President and CEO of FRX Polymers, Marc Lebel, commented that the company’s announcement of the new trade name will serve as the flag ship for the company’s fast expanding product line. FRX Polymers currently operates two pilot plants, one in Chelmsford, MA and another semi-works plant in Switzerland.
FRX Polymers was established after an extensive five-year research and development in flame retardant plastics. The company is still in the growth phase and is in the process of commercializing an innovative line of transparent, high melt flowing, non-halogen, environmentally friendly, and fire resistant plastics.
