BTD Wood Powder Coating showcased its products at the IIDEX 2012 exhibition in Toronto, Canada. The company displayed its growing product line comprising proprietary t.fusion powder coated finishes for wood.
BTD is based out of Brainerd in Minnesota. The company has a strong customer base in North America to which BTD caters with interior furnishing solutions. The products that find applications in areas such as furniture for healthcare and office and displays at point of sale are manufactured in their sophisticated facility in Brainerd.
The BTD Wood Powder Coating company’s decision to display at the IIDEX event was based on the opportunity to interact with existing and potential customers in the Canadian wood powder coating market. IIDEX is an exposition on design and architecture that is conducted every year.
This year’s event was held at the Direct Energy Centre at Toronto from September 20 to 21. The BTD wood powder coating exhibit was located inside the Materials Pavilion which displays novel finishing materials. The exposition is considered to be the largest of its type in Canada. The 2012 IIDEX saw participation from 350 exhibitors and had 15,000 people in attendance. BTD chose to capitalize on the presence of this vast potential customer base, especially since Canada is envisaged to become the fifth biggest market for construction by the year 2020.
Craig Martin, BTD’s President, stated that the finish their products impart can be fully appreciated only when experienced in person and cited the event to be a perfect platform for that purpose.
