Kraton Performance Polymers, a leading global producer of styrenic block copolymers or "SBCs," announces plans to showcase its latest advancements in adhesives and sealants at the 2012 ASC Adhesive & Sealant Council Fall Conference & Expo from October 21-23, 2012. In addition to the product showcase, Dr. Donn Dubois, a senior research chemist at Kraton Polymers, will speak on the topic of "New HSBC Technology for Modification of Amorphous Polyolefins - Cost Effective and More Sustainable Alternatives for Hygiene Hot Melt Adhesives." Dr. Dubois will discuss Kraton's development of high melt flow HSBC structures that are compatible with amorphous polyolefins. He will also explain how formulations that are significantly lower in hydrocarbon resin can be prepared, which can help drive sustainability for this type of application.
