STMicroelectronics, a global semiconductor leader serving customers across the spectrum of electronics applications, today announced it has been awarded the prestigious 2012 Corporate Award from the IEEE Standards Association (IEEE-SA) in recognition of its outstanding leadership and contributions to the development and advancement of standards in electrical and electronics engineering.

In addition to making technical contributions, ST holds membership on the IEEE-SA Corporate Advisory Group, and has employees who hold individual memberships on the IEEE-SA Standards Board and the IEEE-SA Strategic Planning & Portfolio Management Committee.

The prestigious award was presented at the 2012 IEEE-SA Awards ceremony to Oleg Logvinov, Member of the IEEE-SA Standards Board, the IEEE-SA Corporate Advisory Group, and Director of Market Development at ST’s Industrial & Power Conversion Division.
