TSMC Receives Cisco 2012 Silicon EcoSystem Excellence Award

TSMC has been honored as this year's recipient of the Cisco 2012 Silicon EcoSystem Excellence Award.

The award recognizes TSMC for performing beyond expectations by partnering with Cisco as a critical supply chain partner in the development of advanced technologies in the areas of Silicon wafer manufacturing, IC packaging, assembly and testing. The distinction was presented at Cisco's 21st annual Supplier Appreciation Event in Santa Clara, Calif.

"TSMC's direct engagement with Cisco to develop and implement technologies enables an accelerated time to market for Cisco's products. Not only do they meet Cisco's needs today, but they also explore and push the technology envelope in their next-generation process nodes," said Roger Bhikha , Senior Director, Supply Chain Operations, Cisco. "We are pleased to present TSMC with the 'Silicon EcoSystem Excellence' award."

Cisco presented awards to suppliers in recognition of their contributions to Cisco's success in fiscal year 2012. At the event Cisco celebrated the shared successes of its global value chain with strategic suppliers and manufacturing partners and reaffirmed its commitment to a strong, continued partnership that will further accelerate innovation.
