Dunbarton Acquires Strategic Storm Door Assets of Loxcreen MetalSource

Dunbarton Corporation announced today the acquisition of two strategic storm door assets of Loxcreen MetalSource; a division of the South Carolina based company.

Effective March 31, 2013, Dunbarton will begin production of the doors under Dunbarton's Achiever® division. Achiever® Entry Systems are widely used in manufactured housing and multifamily housing projects in North America, Mexico and the Caribbean.

"We believe this acquisition allows us to enhance the Achiever® product line, providing a well-engineered, proprietary storm door to our customers. Loxcreen MetalSource Vice President, Rick Wheeler and his talented team provided resources and support that made the move seamless."

The aluminum Full-View Storm Door and Ventilating Self-Storing Storm Door are available with standard or proprietary vinyl receiver options and will be fabricated at the Dothan, Alabama, manufacturing facility and assembled and distributed from the Camden, Tennessee, facility for new construction and replacement projects.
