The Heraeus Photovoltaic Business Unit, a world leader in the research and development of metallization pastes for crystalline solar cells, will be exhibiting at this year's International Green Energy Expo from April 3rd through 5th in Daegu, South Korea, booth number A510-519. Heraeus will be featuring their new series of front-side pastes, the SOL9610 Series.
"This will be our fourth time exhibiting at the Green Energy Expo and we are pleased to introduce our newest products to cell manufacturers in Korea and other cell manufacturers visiting this show," said Tobias Caspari , General Manager – Asia of the Heraeus Photovoltaics Business Unit. "As an industry leader, we look to provide materials that make our customers' cells the most efficient, cost effective products available to the market."
The SOL9610 Series is Heraeus' newest line of front-side metallization pastes. Formulated to be able to print with finger opening less than 50um, the SOL9610 Series provides finer line resolution than previous generations of paste. With the improved contact to silicon wafers, test results have demonstrated cell efficiencies greater than 19%. According to Dr. Weiming Zhang , Vice President of Technology with the Heraeus Photovoltaic Business Unit, "The SOL9610 Series represents one of Heraeus' highest performing front-side pastes for conventional c-Si solar cells. With our latest innovation breakthroughs in R&D, this is only the cornerstone of the new products we will be delivering to the market."
