DuPont Fluorochemicals Launches Fire Suppression System in Korea

DuPont Korea recently completed a joint development project with Korean fire equipment manufacturer S-Tech to commercialize a clean agent fire protection system utilizing DuPont™ FE-13™. S-Tech will market the fire protection system under the trademark "Anyfire," which received Korean FI approval in April. S-Tech is the first DuPont-authorized fire equipment manufacturer in Korea.

S-Tech completed its first project using the FE-13 system in the Korea Telecom building. Park Chul Won, president, S-Tech, said, "DuPont FE-13 is the safest clean agent for protecting high value assets in areas where people are normally present. We have full confidence that the FE-13 system will be widely used in semicon and flat panel facilities, the railway system, government related buildings and the telecommunications industry."

"This is another important step for the DuPont clean agent fire extinguishants business as we continue to partner with the highest quality, most technically advanced fire equipment manufacturers to deliver fire protection in the high-value asset market space," said Greg Rubin, global market and business manager, DuPont Fluorochemical Specialties.
