Glaston Announces Closing of Major Deal with Jin Jing Group

Glaston has closed a EUR 3.4 million deal with the Chinese company Jin Jing Group. Glaston has a long-term customer relationship with Jin Jing Group and this time the deal includes two Glaston CCS900™ double-chamber tempering furnaces, one Glaston FC500™ flat tempering furnace, one Glaston XtraEdge™ 2640-10 double-edging line and one real-time iLooK™ quality measurement system.

The machines were included in Glaston’s Q1/2013 order book.The heat treatment lines and iLooK™ are manufactured in Tianjin, China and the pre-processing line in Bregnano, Italy. The machines will be delivered to the customer to Beijing, China during the third and fourth quarter of 2013.

The Jin Jing Group has a versatile product offering and has built Asia’s largest production base of embossed glass. The Group has markets throughout North America, Europe, Australia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and other regions. The group’s float glass production lines represents the world's most advanced technology and equipment.

Jin Jing Group’s ultra-clear glass was used on Beijing Olympic Bird's nest and water cube. The company also holds references from Shanghai and Dubai. The current investment will further support Jin Jing Group to produce world class triple silver Low-E glass.
