S:FLEX, Inc. will publicly introduce its lightweight, low ballast, client-customized, flat roof PV Solar mounting system LEICHTmount™, at Intersolar North America on July 8th, 2013.
LEICHTmount flat roof system
LEICHTmount™, (German for" lightweight" and "easy" mounting system), is a newly-developed, flat roof mounting system designed for hassle-free installation on flat roofs. Its lightweight, material-optimized design made of aluminum and stainless steel is suitable for all flat roofs and is custom-manufactured for each project. LEICHTmount™ can be installed as a non-penetrating, low ballasted system, an anchored system with few strategic mounting points or a combination of both.
The variable row spacing and tilt angles between 0 degrees and 35 degrees, extendable base rails and individually customized projects with pre-assembled parts guarantees a simple, time-saving installation. In addition, it's adjustable to conform to unforeseen changes or obstructions on the roof. With its patented technology, LEICHTmount™ provides absolute stability and uses precisely calculated, strong, even-weight distribution.
All standard 60 or 72 cell framed PV modules can be set in portrait or landscape and clamps are placed strictly according to the module manufacturer's specifications, so the risk of micro cracks is minimized and warranty conditions are always met.

In cooperation with one of the largest independent aluminum extruders, LEICHTmount™ was developed by a network of experienced engineers from Germany, the USA and NABCEP-certified PV installers in North America. RWDI wind tunnel tested and approved, it was engineered to meet all wind and snow load requirements even in earthquake and hurricane prone regions.
