Aleph Objects, Inc. continues to lead the evolution of desktop 3D printing with its highest quality and most reliable printer to date, the LulzBot™ TAZ 3. Merging technical expertise with design sensibilities, the TAZ 3 includes notable upgrades such as a 24-volt power supply that heats up the print bed faster.
Complete with a graphic LCD controller that allows printing directly from an SD card, the TAZ 3 allows users to print anywhere without being connected to a computer. The new model offers large build volume, as well as the ability to print with a variety of materials such as ABS, PLA, PVA, high-impact polystyrene and even wood filament.
"The TAZ 3 is another result of our rapid iteration and process of integrating customer feedback in our designs," states Jeff Moe, president of Aleph Objects, Inc. "With an attractive price point and some new upgrades, this machine is the best in its class and ideal for inventors, entrepreneurs, design engineers and prototypers alike."
Like it's predecessors, the TAZ 3 has also received the Free Software Foundation's stamp of approval as a Respects Your Freedom (RYF) endorsed printer. The RYF certification mark means that the product meets the FSF's standards in regard to users' freedom, control over the product, and privacy. To be certified, a hardware product must meet several standards that ensure it runs free software, allows users to modify that software, supports free data formats, and is usable with free tools.
Settled in their new headquarters, Aleph Objects is able to closely manage production and with the redesign, LulzBot TAZ 3 printers come off the line much faster, meaning less wait time for customers from purchase to shipping.
