Speakers Announced for Inside 3D Printing Conference and Expo in South Korea

Mediabistro Inc. announced the speakers for the Inside 3D Printing Conference and Expo with Maker Summit & Pavilion, taking place in South Korea June 12-13, 2014. Inside 3D Printing, which held successful events in Berlin and New York earlier this year, will be the first major 3D printing and additive manufacturing trade show in South Korea.

Speakers include Sungkwon Choi, Professor in the Department of Industrial Design at Seoil University; Wim Michiels, CEO at Materialise Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Vice President Asia Pacific at Materialise NV; and Seok-Hwan You, Founder and CEO at ROKIT, among others.

Several sessions have been announced including: Policy for Vitalization of 3D Printing and Realization of 'Creative Economy', presented by Yoonkyu Park, Chief of ICT Industry Division, Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning, Development Plan for the 3D Printing Industry, presented by Jinsoo Shim, Chief of Electronics and Electrical Division, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and MAKER Movement and 3D Printer, presented by Kang Min Hyuck, Founder and CEO, OpenCreators.

Sponsors and exhibitors for the event include well-known companies within the 3D printing industry, including Stratasys, Materialise, Rokit, ESUN, Artec Group, Canon, MBot 3D, and more.
