eSilicon to Demonstrate GDSII Quoting Tool

In this GDSII tapeout webinar, participants will witness an actual tapeout quote being generated based on real-time input from Bob Dunnigan, vice president of operations at Ikanos, an eSilicon customer. SemiWiki's Daniel Nenni will moderate the event and provide his perspective regarding the impact of Internet commerce on the semiconductor industry.

Demonstrating the GDSII quoting tool, eSilicon will take users through all the steps required to generate a complete, executable quotation that addresses tapeout costs, optional services and volume production pricing for a new chip design. The process, from start to generated quote, is typically completed in less than 10 minutes.

Participants will also learn how to implement various design options in the quoting tool and see how various trade-offs impact the final quotation.

When: Thursday, July 31, 2014, 8:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time
