H.C. Starck Addresses the Rapid Growth in Furnace Production

H.C. Starck addresses the rapid growth in furnace production with its high temperature materials and fabricated components engineered for furnace applications.

H.C. Starck’s product portfolio offers solutions for furnace repairs and operations to a wide spectrum of industries. These products are manufactured from molybdenum, tungsten, tantalum, and their alloys including ODS MoLa, TZM, MoW and MHC, and are supplied to OEMs, end-users, and aftermarket manufacturers.

The MoLa alloy is ideal for dimensional stability and strength at temperatures above the capabilities of pure molybdenum and TZM. Our product range for industrial furnaces includes furnace racks and assemblies, hot zones, flat ribbed heating elements, heat shields, boats and trays.

Increased demand for energy efficiency and reduced clean technology costs are driving the furnace industry to develop cleaner, more energy efficient systems. Customers heat treating large aerospace parts in vacuum furnaces, or brazing high volume production parts through controlled atmospheres, along with those annealing medical and aerospace products, look to H.C. Starck for creative solutions.

”H.C. Starck is positioned to service the growing industrial furnace market. We are thrilled to work with name brand furnace makers on next-generation designs. This represents concrete growth opportunities for us,” said Dmitry Shashkov, Member of H.C. Starck's Executive Board and Head of the Fabricated Products Division.

They support the LED market with products critical to the success of the sapphire crystal-growing industry’s high temperature furnaces and MOCVD equipment.
