PGT Industries, the nation's leading supplier of residential impact-resistant windows and doors, revealed their new vinyl window line at the NAHB International Builders' Show on January 20, 2015 in Las Vegas. The new innovative offering was engineered to deliver one of the industry's most comprehensive lines of vinyl windows.
"This new vinyl product line enables PGT to deliver a feature-rich, all-in-one solution to meet the toughest of project demands," said Todd Antonelli, Vice President of Sales, Marketing & Design Engineering at PGT. "Whether a project calls for an unusually large size, the highest of design pressures or energy standards, we will be able to manufacture the required product, with the desired combination of features, for our customers. We are excited and believe this new product line will be unrivaled in the industry due to its all-inclusive offering."
Available in April 2015, the new product line comes in two series:
WinGuard® Vinyl: PGT's all-new impact-resistant vinyl windows are designed to offer some of the highest design pressures making the nation's #1 brand of impact-resistant windows and doors even stronger and more beautiful than ever. This new series features an attractive modern profile, with larger sizes capable of handling the toughest hurricane codes in the country. It also protects against flying debris, intruders, outside noise and UV rays making it a top choice for customers seeking an impact-resistant window.
"My customers continue to want larger and larger size windows for their home. These larger sizes also many times require higher design pressures and it can be difficult to find a company that can make them," commented Ray Reinhard of H.B.S., Inc in Vero Beach, FL. "PGT's new WinGuard vinyl windows have some of the largest sizes I have seen in the industry! With this new line and all that it has to offer, I am confident our business will be prepared for some of the most challenging customer requests."
EnergyVue™ Vinyl: PGT's all new non-impact vinyl windows features energy-efficient insulating glass and multi-chambered frames that meet or exceed ENERGY STAR® standards in all climate zones to help save consumers on energy costs. The new design has a refined modern profile combined with robust construction to make larger sizes and higher design pressures an unparalleled offering. PGT rounded out the line with one of the industry's most extensive selection of frame colors and a variety of hardware finishes, glass tints, grid styles and patterns for their customers.
"PGT has really delivered what we needed with this new product launch," stated John Holt of Solar-Tite Windows and Doors in Sanford, FL. "We are seeing energy codes become more and more stringent. I was not sure how I was going to accommodate the impending code changes because many of the vinyl window manufacturer's cannot meet them with the products they offer today. As usual, PGT is leading the industry by introducing the products our business needs to be successful as these energy codes requirements become a reality."
