AXT, Inc., a leading manufacturer of compound semiconductor substrates, today formally introduced its raw material product offering that includes: 4N, 6N, and 7N Gallium, B2O3 (Boric Oxide), Germanium, Arsenic, pBN (pyrolitic Boron Nitride) crucibles used in crystal growth and parts for MBE (Molecular Beam Epitaxy).
These raw materials are required in the manufacture of compound semiconductor substrates and are offered as part of AXT's joint venture operations with five companies in China. The joint ventures, located in the Beijing and Nanjing area, include: Beijing Ji Ya Semiconductor Material Co. Ltd., Nanjing Jin Mei Gallium Co. Ltd., Xilingol Tongli Germanium Co. Ltd., Emeishan Jia Mei High Purity Materials Co. Ltd., and Beijing Bo Yu Semiconductor Vessel Craftwork Technology Co. Ltd.
"This expanded raw material offering allows us to provide enhanced value to our customers by enabling them to work with one supplier for all of their substrate and raw material requirements," said Phil Yin, chief executive officer.
