Metafoam Receives First Purchase Order for Metal Foam Products

MetaFoam® Technologies Inc. is proud to announce today a first purchase order for its metal foam products from one of the world’s leading provider of thermal management solutions.

This first order reflects the interest of important players in the electronics cooling industry for our solutions, according to Christian Mathieu, MetaFoam’s Vice-President of business development. Since performances reached by our first prototypes are already significantly higher than those achived by established solutions, we expect that this agreement is the first in a series of development and commercialization partnerships.

MetaFoam’s metal foams can be used in many electronics cooling products such as capillary structure for heat pipes, as a remplacement for microchannels in cold plates or as boiling/evaporator plates.
