American Precision Prototyping Acquire Selective Laser Sintering Experts

American Precision Prototyping, LLC announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the GT Signature Company in Austin, TX. "GT Signature is well known for its expertise in the production of high-quality selective laser sintered parts in an array of materials. The purchase of GT Signature and the addition of Georgia Theriot to the APproto team were a natural fit as our SLS® services grow and we gain market share," stated Jason L. Dickman President of American Precision Prototyping, LLC.

"Georgia Theriot brings with her over 10 years of experience that ranges from early SLS® development at the DTM Corporation to more recent ownership and operation of the GT Signature Company. Georgia's extensive experience will add tremendous value and leadership to our SLS® department. APproto currently provides SLS® prototype parts in six materials including: DuraForm® PA, DuraForm® GF, DuraForm® EX, DuraForm® AF, DuraForm® Flex and CastForm™. We see SLS as the platform for rapid manufactured parts and have plans to add new materials and processes to manufacture certified production parts via SLS® in the near future," continued Dickman.

"We are just three months away from completing a 10,000 sq ft addition to our Tulsa, Oklahoma facility which will accommodate our rapidly growing SLS® and CNC departments as well as a new state-of-the-art inspection department. This expansion, combined with the addition of GT Signature and Georgia, will make APproto a premiere provider of both prototype and production components via selective laser sintering," concluded Dickman
