New Rheology Modifer from Rohm and Haas Improves Viscosity Stability

Rohm and Haas has announced the launch of a new KU-building rheology modifier based on new technology developed by the company. Acrysol(TM) RM-895 is a solvent-free, nonionic, HEUR rheology modifier that provides outstanding viscosity stability upon colorant addition with dramatically improved sag resistance and no loss of flow or leveling.

Acrysol(TM) RM-895 rheology modifier is highly efficient and exhibits enhanced viscosity stability to colorant addition when compared to existing HEUR* thickeners. It provides formulators with excellent sag resistance in tinted paints as well as excellent flow and leveling. Interior and exterior paints containing Acrysol(TM) RM-895 rheology modifier have uniform film formation and excellent gloss development.
