New Products: Refractory Sheet Cylinders

Zircar Refractory Composites has added to its range, the new refractory sheet cylinder, type R-202. The product was developed as a cost effective replacement for dense mullite tubing in an induction annealing machine. R-202 is in fact a cheaper version of R-201 cylinders, both of which are medium density reinforced alumina composites with a maximum usage temperature of 1260°C. R-202 differs from R-201 in that its outer texture reflects the weave of the reinforcing material, while R-201 has a smooth burnished exterior.
