Leading microfludics and nanotechnology development company mPhase Technologies, Inc. will be a Silver Sponsor at the 2008 NanoEurope conference, a leading European nanotechnology event. The event will be held in St. Gallen, Switzerland on September 16 and 17, 2008.
mPhase for the first time will be unveiling new applications at NanoEurope 2008 which are evolving from advancements made while developing its Smart NanoBattery. Our unique nanostructured membrane developed for our Smart NanoBattery can also be designed to function as a smart surface that can filter and control how liquids act on solid surfaces. This ability opens up the potential to use this technology for applications such as water purification and treatment, as well as self-cleaning glass. mPhase's first product based on this unique technology is the Smart NanoBattery which opens up new possibilities in energy storage and power management.
"We are excited about the potential of our ability to control the behavior of liquids as they come in contact with solid materials. In batteries we have been able to separate the electrolyte from the positive and negative electrode thereby creating a power source that has practically an infinite shelf life. Our work has opened up the door for other applications that we look forward to discussing at NanoEurope 2008," said Ronald A. Durando CEO of mPhase Technologies.
The NanoEurope 2008 exhibition, held concurrently with the technical congress, offers businesses from a wide range of technology sectors a platform to display solutions for commercializing nanotechnology research results. Last year, some 3,500 visitors from over 40 countries attended. Participation is a vital part of mPhase/AlwaysReady entering the European market and getting massive exposure for its revolutionary Smart NanoBattery and unique core platform technology.
NanoEurope 2008 also provides a forum for decision makers from the business and investment communities. Top managers from successful nanotechnology companies will discuss the business perspectives of nanotechnology and show how opportunities can be seized by developing concrete commercial applications.
