Oxonica Restructure and Expand Operations

OXONICA Limited, the Oxford-based applied nanomaterials company, has recently completed a restructuring of its board, and is pleased to announce a number of new appointments. Foremost is the appointment of Christopher Moore as its new Executive Chairman. Christopher has had a long and successful career in investment banking, private equity, and industrial management and is fully committed to creating optimum conditions for the commercial development of OXONICA. The Board is also delighted to welcome Ed Weeks, a senior industrialist from the chemical industry, who has joined the Board as a non-executive director and Richard Clarke, who joined the Board in June as Chief Financial Officer. Richard has previously acted as CFO for two listed technology companies and brings with him a wealth of financial and corporate experience that will further strengthen OXONICA's executive management team.

The company has continued to expand its operations on the Begbroke site, occupying additional laboratory and office space. These additional facilities will support the company's successful programme of applied product development and provide the necessary capacity for organic growth. The head count has increased to 29 employees to further support the increase in product development and growing commercial activity.
