Micro and Precision Manufacturing Event Organisers Announce Call for Abstracts

The organiser of MM Live - the Micro & Precision Manufacturing event, is pleased to announce the 2010 Call for Papers.

This year's conference will continue on the theme of Business Critical Technologies for Micro & Precision Manufacturing and to this end the Conference Manager would welcome any paper submissions from parties who can present on the following topics:

  • A definitive micro manufacturing application across industry, in sectors including: Aerospace, Medical, Automotive, Electronics, Dental and Telecoms.
  • Technical and practical case studies, examining the day-to-day issues associated with the implementation of micro manufacturing technologies within industry- what can they be used for and how to get the most out of them, the realities of using and adopting them.

The MM Live 2010 conference will focus on the full spectrum of micro manufacturing machines and technologies including: micro milling turning and grinding; micro EDM, erosion, boring; micro injection moulding and tooling; micro metrology and inspection; and micro assembly, welding and positioning.

The conference will once again be held at the prestigious and centrally located Ricoh Arena, Coventry, 19¬th-20th October 2010, and anyone submitting a presentation must be available to present on either of these two days.

All submissions must be non-promotional in content and presented by companies that are utilising and/or researching the technologies for an industrial application. Exhibitors are welcome to submit practical application based case studies.

Interested parties are initially requested to submit a detailed abstract (300-400 words) of their proposed paper on or before 6th May 2010. This should include the working title, all authors/contributors and their affiliations.
