Arkema to Showcase Products for the Coating Industry at ACS 2010

At ACS 2010, from April 13 to 15, Arkema company will highlight a wide range of products used in the coatings industry at its booth.

With its global and customer-focused approach, internationally recognized brands and innovation, Arkema boasts major resources and a comprehensive offering for the coatings sector. Products and brands include: Coatex additive designers (rheology modifiers), newly acquired Arkema Emulsion Systems, Kynar Aquatec, Orgasol and Rilsan fine powders, Acrylic's Norsocryl, Blocbuilder controller for free radical polymerization, and Nanostrength block copolymers.

Alongside the tradeshow in Charlotte, Arkema also held a press briefing on April 14 when Marc Schuller, Vice President Industrial Chemicals, reviewed Arkema's assets and major development ambitions in the coatings and paint market, stating: « With an extensive innovative product offering, and following the closing early 2010 of the acquisition of certain acrylic monomer and acrylic latex polymer assets from Dow Chemical, Arkema is looking to grow from the status of a competitive European player in upstream acrylics to that of an integrated global leader across the entire acrylic chain in order to best serve its customers.
