The E.T. Horn Company, a leading national distributor, supplier, marketer, and manufacturer of specialty chemicals, ingredients, and nutraceuticals announced that Dow Epoxy, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company, has named it the recipient of the 2009 Most Outstanding Distributor Award in North America.
E.T. Horn distributes DOW™ Epoxy Resins and hardeners that are used in various products and industries, including: aerospace composites, structural adhesives, paints and coatings, flooring systems, boat building, and many more.
The award is very highly regarded within the Dow Epoxy Business. All contestants are carefully reviewed against a predetermined list of criteria defined to represent their definition of a world-class distributor, including knowledge of the market, understanding Dow's value proposition, technical/commercial expertise, and the ability to deliver growth and margin improvement year after year.
“E.T. Horn distinguished itself by offering its customers a comprehensive product mix, selling a high sales volume through strategic accounts, and proactively communicating and collaborating with the Dow Epoxy team both on a long-term and daily basis," said Changfeng Liu, Dow Epoxy Global Business Director. E.T. Horn Vice President Parry Foskett attributed the award to the outstanding overall performance of the company’s Industrial Group (which includes Advanced Materials, and Coatings/Building Materials), and also the collective performance of the entire company.
