JEC Composites today announced the winners of the annual JEC Asia Innovation Awards 2010. This year, nine companies and their 17 partners will receive awards for their groundbreaking application developments in the composites field at the JEC Show Asia 2010, to be held in Singapore on October 12-14.
An awards program that attracts much attention in the global composites market, the JEC Asia Innovation Awards is supported by major companies and trade magazines in the industry committed to the development of composite innovation. Now in its third year running, the JEC Asia Innovation Awards has also quickly established itself as a top-level awards program attuned to the latest technological trends in the Asian composites field.

The JEC Innovation Awards is a global program created in 1998 with the aim of promoting successful innovations, and is supported by major companies and trade magazines in the composites industry. Each year, an international jury of renowned industry experts reviews the industry's leading-edge composite innovations, and awards are handed out based on their technical interest, market potential, partnership, financial impact and originality.
Besides the awards ceremony for the winners of the JEC Asia Innovation Awards 2010, JEC Asia Show 2010 will also feature exhibitions by leading players in the global composites industry. The show will also launch the inaugural Innovative International Composites Summit (IICS) with the theme, "Composites for a sustainable growth in Asia," the biggest platform that will gather regional and global professionals in the composites industry, as well as universities and research centers, and related institutions to exchange ideas and get updated on the latest developments and trends in the industry (www.jeccomposites.com/jec-forums/7352/composites-edito.html)
The JEC Asia Innovation Awards 2010 ceremony will take place on October 12, at 4.30pm during the JEC Asia exhibition and conference, and will be open to all visitors. This year's winners are listed below:
