TZMI's 4th Annual Asia in Focus Congress is now less than one month away, this year being held from 3 to 5 November 2010 at the InterContinental Hotel in Kowloon, Hong Kong. The Congress will cover a range of topics with excellent speakers across titanium feedstocks and zircon, TiO2 pigments, end use markets and more whilst also providing an industry wide networking opportunity like no other.
The Congress will commence with a Welcome Cocktail Reception on Wednesday evening, followed by the two day presentation programme starting Thursday morning. Delegates will be provided with exposure to industry developments, insights and outlook as presented by senior executives from top global feedstock producers; prominent global TiO2 pigment manufacturers; established and emerging titanium feedstock and TiO2 pigment producers in China and Asia; the latest TZMI research and analysis for Ti-feedstocks, zircon and TiO2 pigments; and recognised industry consultants on end-use markets.
This year's Keynote Speaker is Oliver Ramsbottom, Partner at McKinsey & Company China who has worked extensively in the basic materials and commodity sectors through China, Asia Pacific and Europe. Other speakers will include senior executives from Iluka Resources, Rio Tinto Iron & Titanium, Exxaro Resources, Kenmare Resources, Base Resources, Mineral Deposits Limited, Australasian Minerals & Trading, Komrowski, Technical Ceramic Marketing Service, Zheijiang Shenghua Biok Biology Co Ltd, DuPont, Jotun A/S, Jinan Yuxing, Worley Parsons, Bateman Engineering and MetConLLC. Presenters have been carefully selected by TZMI to ensure that Congress 2010 remains the industry's best mine-to-market conference for the mineral sands and TiO2 industries.
Mr Philip Murphy, TZMI Managing Director says "The response rate for Congress 2010 has been the most successful yet, which we expect to be reflective of the mineral sands and TiO2 sectors undergoing a revival and receiving plenty or investor attention right now. With the strong supply/demand fundamentals and positive market dynamics across the titanium supply chain, and the bullish zircon market, we are expecting a very relevant and energetic Congress."
