Cosentino, the world leader in natural stone, quartz, and recycled surfaces, announces a new alliance with premium home decor brand, Christopher Peacock Home. The joint venture will officially kick-off at Culinarium 2010, the kitchen design and epicurean event of the season from October 19-21, sponsored by the San Francisco Design Center (SFDC).
Beginning October 2010, two of Cosentino's leading product lines, Silestone and ECO by Cosentino, will be available to purchase at all Christopher Peacock showrooms nationwide for the first time. This significant collaboration of two of the most influential brands in the kitchen industry will broaden Christopher Peacock's current surfacing offerings from traditional natural stone products to stylish quartz and trendsetting sustainable solutions. Silestone is a quartz surface that combines the durable and functional characteristics of quartz, with sophisticated and contemporary design. ECO™ by Cosentino is an innovative line of eco-friendly surfacing material composed of 75% post-consumer and post-industrial raw recycled content. The partnership is a perfect match of quality, design-driven brands for the home.
"We are thrilled to announce this exciting partnership. Both Cosentino and Christopher Peacock are leaders of innovation and design in the kitchen and bath category. It is a natural association, and a strong alliance," said Lorenzo Marquez, VP of Marketing for Cosentino North America.
"More and more I find myself favoring solid surface countertop materials, and Cosentino continues to lead the pack. The design capabilities are endless," said President & CEO of Christopher Peacock Home, Christopher Peacock.
"It's our goal to always bring our clientele the best in design that's organic to what we do. We're excited to introduce the options of ECO and Silestone to our showrooms. The durable, functional and aesthetic properties of both products, and the environmentally-friendly properties of ECO, give our clients a wonderful choice for their homes and our designers another bow in their quiver," said Lane Brooks, Creative Director and Vice President of Communications at Christopher Peacock.
The affiliation of the brands will officially kick-off when Christopher Peacock and Cosentino will celebrate the importance of the kitchen in the home at Culinarium 2010 in San Francisco. This gourmand, design event will showcase how modern kitchens can be made more personal, comfortable, and technologically advanced. By building out a fully functioning kitchen in the SFDC's Galleria Atrium with beautiful Silestone countertops, exquisite custom cabinetry, cutting-edge appliances and high-tech home control systems, this dynamic collaboration will demonstrate how to enhance and style the social heart of the home.
"Culinarium 2010 is an exciting focus on the role of the kitchen in the home. The interactive format of the event creates a great opportunity for visitors to engage with design, be inspired, and discover how to personalize their own kitchens with the latest trends and innovations. Silestone was selected for this project because it is a beautiful, functional, and durable product, and the leader of innovation and design in its category," said Brooks.
The event, aimed at homeowners and trade professionals, will consist of inspiring keynote speakers from the interior design world, lively panel discussions, cooking demonstrations with celebrity chefs, and designer and chef competitions. Proceeds from the event will provide scholarships to Bay Area interior design students.
"We are thrilled to have Silestone, the world's leading Quartz Company as a focal point of the Christopher Peacock designed kitchen at the San Francisco Design Center. The product is so stylish and versatile that designers use Silestone not only in the kitchen, but have found innovative ways to use it in other interior installations," said Rhonda Hirata, Director of Marketing at the San Francisco Design Center.
