Recticel to Build Thermal Insulation Production Facility in France

Recticel announces today that it has taken the decision to build a new factory for the production of thermal insulation panels for the building industry. With this new plant, which will be located in the centre of France, the Group accelerates the growth strategy of its Insulation business line.

Recticel's Insulation business line produces panels in high performance rigid polyurethane foam ("PU"), which are used for the thermal insulation of walls, floors and roofs in residential, commercial, industrial, public, logistics and agricultural buildings. The high-quality panels are used for new constructions as well as for renovation projects; and are marketed under strong brand names such as Eurowall, Powerroof, Powerdeck and Powerwall.

Today the Group operates from two production sites; one in Wevelgem (Belgium) and one in Stoke-on- Trent (United Kingdom). In 2009, this activity (i.e. building insulation) realised a total turnover of EUR 150.5 million.

With the new facility, which will ultimately employ some 50 people, the Group aims to double its sales of insulation material in France. It is expected that the new factory will become operational by early 2013.
