Frontier Global Sciences Provides New Methods to Analyze Heavy Metals

Frontier Global Sciences, a leading scientific laboratory focused on the analysis of toxic metals, announced today it has expanded its capabilities to include its fourth inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) instrument.

The purchase of a Perkin Elmer Nexion ICP-MS will expand Frontier's ability to offer additional ICP-MS services including standard quadropole, true dynamic reaction cell, as well as collision cell techniques.

According to Patrick Garcia Strickland, the Company's Technical Director, "For the last 20 years Frontier Global Sciences has been a leader in the development of new and improved methods to analyze metals at extremely low levels. Expanding our range of ICP-MS techniques will allow us to analyze the most complex samples with extremely high accuracy by offering several methods to compare to. Offering these new methods to test for heavy metals in environmental, pharmaceutical, dietary supplement and consumer applications continues our quest to offer the most accurate and low-level measurements available."
