Supplier of automotive restoration tools, Eastwood has unveiled a portable, economical and turnkey DIY power equipment called the Eastwood engineered Versa-Cut Plasma Cutter to cut aluminum, stainless steel and steel materials neatly.
The Versa-Cut Plasma Cutter has a voltage-sensing technology that makes the user to connect into a 220 or 110 V power supply with the incorporated adaptor cord, while utilizing a low current of 15 A circuit at 50/60 Hz. The equipment integrates an interior moisture separator, which assure the delivery of dry air to the torch. The ground clamp has a length of 10' and the torch hose extends up to 20'.
The producer of the Eastwood Versa-Cut Plasma Cutter and a Restoration Expert of Eastwood, Mark Robidoux, commented that the equipment could produce neat and quick cuts in metals with a thickness range of 24 gauges and 3/8². Its inverter technology provides optimal cutting power and arc constancy. Depending on the thickness of the metals, the cutter can be used with any normal shop- or home-type air compressor within a pressure range of 20 to 65 psi at 3 cfm. The whole equipment weighs less than 30 lbs.
