Anomatic, an Ohio-based metal anodizing service provider for pharmaceutical, cosmetic, medical and personal care packaging industries, has announced the expansion of its manufacturing plant in Connecticut, U.S.
The company made a reinvestment of $1.2 million in 2010 to expand its metal stamping capacity and to construct a tool and die shop.
The expansion includes an addition of 10 metal stamping presses. The Connecticut-based plant began its operations in 2007 with only three metal stamping presses. The company will add eight more machines by July 2011. Currently, the facility has 16 presses and the production rate is expected to rise from 300 million stamped components to 500 million per year.
Anomatic’s President, Scott L. Rusch stated that the addition of new presses to the Connecticut metal forming operation will help the company to increase its overall production. In addition, it allows the company to meet customers’ requirements with high efficiency and speed. Thus, the expansion turns the Connecticut operation into a center of excellence in terms of comprehensive tool building and metal stamping, Rusch said.
Anomatic continues to invest in CI improvements, assembly machines and technical support to better serve its customers.
