Specialty chemicals company, Chemtura proclaimed that it will display its latest products and will discuss about its investment strategy in China and other promising markets at 2011 Chinaplas, which will be conducted from 17 to 20 May 2011 in Guangzhou, China.
At Chinaplas, Chemtura will display its latest portfolio of products for plastics, including flame retardants, polymerization inhibitors, ultraviolet (UV) stabilizer and antioxidants. It will present details about its new Application Development Center established in the Nanjing Economic & Technological Development Zone. It provides technical assistance for the company’s operations in the Asia-Pacific market that grew by 52% in 2010.
As part of its investment strategy, Chemtura intends to spend between $50 million and $60 million in the Chinese region in the forthcoming years. The company is seeking acquisitions and joint ventures prospects in China in order to expand its operations in the Asia-Pacific market.
The company’s UV Stabilizers and Antioxidants division will carry on its activities towards advancement of new technologies. It has developed the advanced WESTON Liquid Productivity Platform based on customer requirement for eco-friendly, economical, dust free additive solutions. It has also improved its patented Non-Dust Blend (NDB) technology.
At Chinaplas, Chemtura will demonstrate its Liquid Productivity Platform, WESTON 705, as well as blends and liquid phenolics. The company will display a line of products comprising powders, NDBs and liquids that offer an extensive range of stabilization solutions to the customers.
The company will present the new Emerald product line, which is an eco-friendly, economical, ultra-performance flame retardant solution from Great Lakes Solutions for use in furniture and insulation foam, building products, electrical enclosures and electronic parts.
