Baumgartens’ Plastiklips Now Made from Recycled Plastic Materials

Baumgartens has introduced advanced plastic paper clips called Plastiklips that are currently made from 40% recycled materials.

David Baumgarten, Baumgartens’ Vice President, stated that the company gives major importance to upgrade products so that they can contribute toward people-friendly and sustainable planet. In 1963, the company had launched Plastiklips in the U.S. and holds several patents for this product.

Plastic, a flexible synthetic material, currently has a wide range of applications. A study showed that 120 billion tons of plastic is produced by the U.S. every year and of the total plastic, less than 5% is recycled while the remaining amount is deployed to landfills. One way to reuse plastic is by selecting Plastiklips.

The high-quality plastic paper clips are lightweight and available in various colors and sizes.  The clips are free from acids and hence they are rustproof. Plastiklips is suitable for color coding and shredders. Tear and discoloration of paper can be avoided with the use of Plastiklips. The plastic paper clips are available in boxes produced using 91% post-consumer waste.
