Marvin Windows and Doors has introduced a factory-applied white painted interior finish option on all its pine doors and windows. The new option is part of the company’s ‘Built around you’ philosophy.
Bill Boyd, Marvin’s Product Planner, stated that clients demanded this option. The company’s factory-applied painted interior finish is long-lasting, appealing and more eco-friendly than jobsite painting.
The Marvin factory utilizes sophisticated spray machinery to reduce paint leftovers and overspray. It also retains and strains volatile organic compounds to reduce impact to the surroundings, offering a ‘greener’ factory finish when compared to an on-site finish.
The new factory finish option enables constructors, renovators and house owners enjoy several advantages of factory-applied paint. The new option is highly convenient since it avoids untidiness and delay related to painting windows at the work site. It also avoids logistics issues of getting them painted at another site.
Marvin’s factory-applied paint topcoat fulfills the regulations of the Window and Door Manufacturers Association (WDMA TM 14-09 standards). The integrated primer and paint equipment has been exclusively developed to offer excellent paint bonding and resilience.
The water-based enamel paint and primer are eco-friendly since they do not contain any Volatile Hazardous Air Pollutants and feature minimum amount of Volatile Organic Compounds.
Marvin has released the White Painted Interior Finish throughout the U.S.
