Franklin International Launches PROvantage Heavy-Duty Construction Adhesive in Small, Squeezable Tube

Franklin International, developer of Titebond adhesives and sealants, has released a small tube of Titebond PROvantage Heavy-Duty Construction Adhesive. The new six-ounce squeeze tube is easy to use and compact in size. The PROvantage adhesive is solvent-based and meets all VOC regulations.

Till date, the PROvantage adhesive can be availed only in 10- and 28-ounce cartridges. But the newly released small tube enables contractors and DIYers to carry out simple tasks and quick project enhancements. It eliminates the requirement of a caulking gun. Professionals can simply remove the tube’s cap and apply the adhesive. Once opened, the tube has to be used within a year. The squeeze tube can be fitted either inside a toolbox or other tight spot.

The pre-cut detachable nozzle of the squeeze tube enables construction professionals to work in tight locations, which cannot be accessed by nails or cartridges. After applying the adhesive, the tip of the tube is cleaned and the cap and nozzle are repositioned. This tube is then returned to the toolbox.

Craig Stone, Marketing Director of Franklin International, stated that the squeeze tube was exclusively developed to improve the usefulness of the PROvantage Heavy-Duty Construction Adhesive. Instead of using a full 10-ounce or 28-ounce cartridge for a smaller task, clients can use the new six-ounce tube and seal up for sustained use.

The PROvantage range features eight distinct varieties of adhesives to fulfill all applications on a building site. All adhesives provide high performance features of traditional solvent-based preparations like quick grab and capability to extrude in cold temperatures. In addition, the PROvantage technology does not depend on by-products of petroleum and features VOC content below 50 g/L.

The PROvantage Heavy-Duty Construction Adhesive can stick commonly used construction materials such as wood, brick, metal and concrete. It can even bond frozen, wet and treated lumber. It provides sturdy green grab and extrudes between 0°F and 100°F temperatures. Hence, it can be used in both hot and cold temperature conditions. The PROvantage Heavy-Duty Construction Adhesives can be availed from hardware and construction supply stores.
