Bayer's corporate image film entitled "Bayer: Science For A Better Life" has received the CINE Special Jury Award presented by U.S. media experts in Washington. At the 46th Annual CINE Golden Eagle Film and Video Awards Gala, the new film from Bayer came first in the category "Professional Non-Telecast Division / Business - Sales & Promotion". CINE is among the oldest and most prestigious film and video organizations in the United States. The honor bestowed at this ceremony brings the number of prizes garnered by Bayer's latest image film to four.
"This high recognition from abroad shows that the film appeals to a global audience," commented Dr. Monika Schütze, Head of Corporate Branding in Bayer AG's Communications Department, accepting the award on the company's behalf. The film's title underlines Bayer's mission as an inventor company to set trends in research-intensive areas. "Our aim was to capture the fascination of the realigned Bayer Group in a technically innovative image film," said Schütze.
The film, directed by Sven Fleck, is made up of playful scenes that center on human needs and illustrate how Bayer's products and the fruits of the company's research are present in all areas of everyday life. Special touches are provided by the innovative shooting technique, featuring a single sweep of the camera and continuous transitions between the scenes.
Bayer's image film also won three previous prizes, coming third in the 2004 German Industry Film Awards, ranking in the top prize category "Master of Exellence - Member of the European Masterclass" in the "Corporate Media 2004" competition, and also winning the CINE Golden Eagle Award in the United States.
This further award in the U.S. provides additional proof of the success of Bayer's corporate image campaign.
