Scapa Group Establishes New Indian Subsidiary

Scapa Group announced that it has established an Indian subsidiary, Scapa Tapes India.

Scapa is one of the world’s leading producers of adhesive components and bonding solutions for consumers, distributors and OEMs in the automotive, industrial, electronics and medical sectors. The new wholly-owned subsidiary was established to support the fast developing Indian market. The GDP of the market is expected to increase more than 8% in the future years.

The company will combine the existing sales offices at Mumbai and New Delhi into the new Indian division. Other subsidiaries of Scapa are located in Malaysia, Korea and China.

The CEO of Scapa, Heejae Chae stated that the formation of Scapa Tapes India reinforces the company’s investment in the growing markets of Asia. It also helps in meeting the rising customers demand in the global and Indian markets. It has been observed that India offers potential opportunities for Scapa’s major markets, including graphics, printing, cable, electronics and medical.
