Henkel will display its latest products, including cleaner, sealant and adhesive technologies, for photovoltaic production and deployment at the Intersolar North America and Semicon West shows to be conducted from 12 to 14 July, 2011 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
The complete line of sealant and adhesive products at the shows will include back- and front-end solar processes, ranging from silicon wafer manufacturing, module assembly to deployment.
Henkel supplies products for all types of solar photovoltaic designs such as concentrated solar power systems, concentrators, flexible and thin film building integrated photovoltaics, and conventional crystalline modules.
At the Intersolar North America show, Henkel will exhibit its products for back-end solar methods that offer weather/watertight, reliability and durability to the modules. At the Semicon West show, the company will display its products for front-end applications to produce an electrically conductive layer of electrical systems, stringing operations and wafer manufacturing.
Henkel offers cleaners, solders, maskings, molding compounds, printable inks, sealants, potting compounds, die attach adhesives, electrically and thermally conductive materials, elastomers and structural adhesives. These products are specially developed for solar applications such as weather/UV protection, laminating to flexible roofing membranes, laminating to metal or plastic panels, module mounting/frameless sealing, electrically conductive bonding, mounting/module framing, junction box sealing/bonding/fixing/potting, solar cell bonding, wafer cleaning and ingot bonding.
