A revised booklet containing a selection of Powder Metallurgy Component Case Studies has been launched by the European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA).
This free, easy to read, 20-page booklet contains recent case studies on a range of component parts made using the Powder Metallurgy process and the advantages it provides. The Case Studies booklet focuses on 4 distinct areas that benefit from using Powder Metallurgy (PM), Improved Performance, Increased Complexity of Component Produced, Cost Saving and Weight Saving.
The case studies cover a wide range of applications and industry sectors, from very small medical devices through to automotive components to luxury consumer goods mechanisms. All of these help to showcase the diversity and ingenuity of components that can be made using PM.
'This PM Case Studies booklet is a really good starting point for End Users and potential users of PM parts to understand that using PM really can deliver improvements to your product' said Andrew Almond, EPMA's Marketing Manager. He added 'The variety of applications and industry sectors that are currently using PM, as covered in the Case Studies booklet, shows how advantageous employing this production technology is.'
The booklet containing a selection of Powder Metallurgy Component Case Studies is available in either hard copy or digital (PDF) formats. To order a hard copy, available free in Europe, or download a digital copy, please go to the EPMA website www.epma.com for more details.
