Bourque Industries, an exclusive distributor of Kryron-based technologies, has acquired a new manufacturing facility on lease in Tucson, Arizona. The facility has a total area of approximately 20,000 ft2.
The property will serve as a manufacturing facility for Kryron and Kryron alloys and also as a pilot production plant for Kryron applications. Kryron is an advanced metal alloying process that produces materials with excellent ballistic protection, heat dissipation and conductivity. The materials are produced on common base metals like steel, copper and aluminum.
The new manufacturing plant enables the company to produce Kryron alloy and Kryron ballistic plating for armor applications at the industrial scale. Also, partnership with large manufacturers when required will help Bourque Industries to successfully complete huge orders within a shorter period.
The company’s founder and CEO, John M. Bourque stated that the acquisition of an industrial property on lease in Tuscon signifies that Bourque Industries is prepared to accept and deliver large purchase orders. Thus, the company is now open for business in Tucson city.
