Olympia Steel Building has in recent times provided a 2000 sq ft Olympia Steel Buildings prefab metal building kit to Shane DeRusha from Ontario, the owner of Precision Auto Body. This kit helped Precision Auto Body to avoid contractor’s fees and helped them to save an amount of 20,000 dollars.
An added advantage was that this building would last for more than a hundred years. This pre-engineered building will act as an auto-body repair shop for accommodating the expanding auto body repair business, which DeRusha had created in the year 2009. The do-it-yourself prefabricated steel kit took about a month for construction. The construction was completed by DeRusha with the help of family and friends. The paneling and insulation for the building was carried out by the DIY crew.
Mr. DeRusha’s aim was to establish a premium pre-engineered building for carrying out high-class repairs in his shop. He has revealed that other than the savings and the long life-span of the building, an added benefit will be its fantastic energy efficiency. The building eliminates the extra expenditure of heating despite the fact that Ontario’s temperature would go up to 35° below zero in winter with its four feet of snow.
Sioux Lookout is a rural area in Northwest Ontario with a total of 5000 residents who live all the year around, but there is no dearth in auto body repairs. The streams and the lakes that abound in the region attract innumerable visitors and tourists, which give rise to vehicle damages because of the bumpy roads and also collisions with the wildlife in the area.
Steve Wetmore, who is the Vice President of Olympia Steel Buildings, has remarked that it was gratifying to work with a customer and guide him through zoning regulations and help him to gain exactly what he wanted at an affordable cost.
