Ossen Innovation, a China-based producer manufacturer of a wide range of rare earth, plain surface and zinc coated pre-stressed steel materials, has declared that it has been certified for specific kinds of pre-stressed steel materials to be supplied in South Korea. The company has commenced discussions with a number of probable South Korean customers.
Ossen cleared a number of tests done by the Korean Standards Association encompassing areas that include standards of manufacturing facility and product quality. The Korean government has a stringent control over using imported pre-stressed steel materials on huge domestic projects to be less than 30%. Beginning in the year 2012, this cap will be improved to 50%.
The chairman of Ossen Innovation, Dr Liang Tiang stated that the company is excited on obtaining the certificate from the Korean Standards Association. He said that this confirms the superior quality of its products and also the proven track record of deploying its pre-stressed steel products in huge infrastructure projects world-wide. As the company manages the short-term challenges domestically, it looks to markets abroad like the U.S and South Korea for further growth.
Ossen Innovation markets and produces a wide range of plain surface pre-stressed steel materials and rare zinc and earth coated pre-stressed steel materials. The company's products are primarily used in bridge construction and also in highways and various infrastructure projects. Ossen has two production plants in Anhui Province, Maanshan and Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province.
