Npe, an important global exhibition for the plastics industry, will be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida from April 1 to 5.
Negri Bossi’s EOS, an innovative product presented last Autumn in Great Britain, Birmingham, Germany, Spain, Russia and India, achieved considerable recognition. The EOS has been designed with a comparatively smaller footprint, reduced from 5 m to 3.5 m for the 80 to 90 t version. EOS offers excellent toggle clamping and permits the mold area’s lubrication system to be eliminated. The model to be demonstrated at the exhibition has a mold that will help produce medical items.
The hybrid JANUS series, featuring “robotic” integration will also be displayed at the exhibition. Along with the press, the lateral Sytrama IML robot will be offered. This robot utilizes an “in mold labeling” article application system. It begins the overmolding process by picking up labels and inserting them into the press cavity, resulting in an incorporated label, the kind suitable for food tubs.
The CANBIO hydraulic press will also be featured at the exhibition. This press holds high importance because of its consistency and productivity in a wide range of conditions. The equipment VESTA will feature a 220 t model with a 48 cavity mold for manufacture of syringes. Since the equipment is accurate, energy saving and clean, it is suitable for the medical sector.
Finally, the “Spark Tester” is used for identification of micro-holes or cracks that cannot be easily detected with conventional optic systems on the base of the “electric rigidity” principle of plastic caps.
The SBF rotary stretch blow molding machines line features 6 to 24 blow molding stations, symbolizing high-end equipment that can produce over 64,000 bottles per hour in the standard half-liter format.
