DuPont has announced that the company will showcase powder coating solutions in a 54-floor luxury apartment building located in Poland.
Architect Daniel Libeskind specifically designed this new building. DuPont’s Alesta powder coatings will cover the façade of the new building for approximately 87,000 sq. m.
According to Elzbieta Wojciechowska-Zalewska, DuPont Coating Solutions’ country business manager, the DuPont powder coatings team in Poland endeavored considerably in order to ensure DuPont solutions were used in this important project. Colleagues from Belgium supported this team.
The new apartment building is situated in the heart of Warsaw and is named as Zlota. Since the skyscraper has a distinct shape, it will definitely become a prominent landmark of the city and will be an elegant symbol in the skyline of Poland’s capital. A home management system will be installed in every apartment and integrates all operations and controls in a single touchscreen. It has been planned to complete the construction of the building in 2012, but Zlota 44 has previously received a European Property Award.
Monika Rytczak, DuPont Coatings Solutions’ sales representative stated that the designs of Libeskind have impressed everyone, wherever the building with such designs are built. The company is excited about the construction of the next world-class site with the help of DuPont.
