JM Eagle, a manufacturer of a wide array of high-grade, high-performance high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipes, announced that it is expanding the production of solid-wall HDPE pipe to meet the demands in northern Canadian and U.S. markets.
The company has upgraded its two plants located in Sunnyside, Washington and Meadville, Pennsylvania.
The Sunnyside facility was converted from PVC to PE production and increases the number of PE production lines in the Meadville facility. Thus, JM Eagle aims to better serve its clients, who are looking for products for sewer, water and oil and gas gathering. In addition, the Sunnyside facility will manufacture PE pipes for irrigation and the two plants will manufacture products for power and communication purposes.

Dan O’Connor, VP of PE sales at JM Eagle, remarked that the expansion helps the company to develop a stronger footprint in nationwide PE production and distribution.
PE water and sewer pipes from JM Eagle is ideal for industrial and municipal transmission systems for reclaimed water, irrigation, mining, drain, sewer and potable water. The company’s gas pipes are used in multiple applications, including oil and gas gathering and distribution.
