FAWER Automotive Parts and China BAK Battery have made a joint agreement to develop electric vehicle (EV) battery modules and other battery products which have high capacity.
Both the companies will cooperate to develop and produce battery modules under this agreement. These batteries will be tested in certain electric vehicles by FAWER. The company is presently developing these vehicles.
The CEO of China BAK, Mr. Xiangqian Li stated that this new cooperation with FAWER to develop batteries for electric vehicles shows that their company is being recognized globally for their EV battery modules and cells. The company also plans to have similar collaborations with other automobile manufacturers since they are encouraged by the response they have received from FAWER. He further stated that both the companies are mutually benefited because of their joint effort.
China BAk Battery manufactures battery cells that are lithium based. They are made in factories in Tianjin and Shenzhen. These battery cells are manufactured for recharging smart phones, cell phones, blue tooth headsets, notebook computers, electric vehicles, portable media players, digital cameras, PDAs, camcorders and other power supplies.
